Tented Tortrix Moths
What are they?
The Tortricidae (Tortrix Moths) is a large family of moths, which is here broken into two sections - those that tent-fold their wings and those that fold the wings flat over the back. This is an artificial division but one based on a simple identification point which therefore helps to narrow the search down.
Identification
This is a large family of often very similar species. Identification can be difficult and often based on very small differences in wing markings.
