The Plume Moths
What are they?
PLume Moths are a rather surprising group of moths which at first glance may not be thought to be moths at all. Their wings are variously split longitudinally into several smaller sections, giving them the appearance of having extremely narrow wings. At rest, they often have a narrow T-shaped appearance.
Identification
Many species of plume moth can be very difficult to identify, with identification based on some tiny differences in wing and body pattern.
