The Phytometrines
What are they?
A small and varied group of moths in the family Erebidae which may not form a natural group and may be reclassified in the future. Moths range from dull, poorly marked grays to bright pinks and yellows.
Identification
This is a diverse group of species which should be readily identifiable by their wing colors and markings. Most rest with the wings flattened down and forming a broad triangular outline.
